    Time=Life

    Timer starts…Now! “We’re all terminal in this earth.” ~ Mr. Shook—-since we’re all gonna die in one way or the other. Thing is, how are we gonna spend that little amount of time on earth. Would it be better to spend it ‘practically’ with an Eat-Drink-for-Tomorrow-We-Die kind of way or “Be very careful then how youDay03 should live, not as unwise but as wise. Making the most out of every opportunity, because the days are evil?” [put passage ref here, Paul of Tarsus]. Time is the only thing unstoppable, next to God.

    If after 30 days I’d have to join my Creator, I’d spend these last days for important stuffs. Things that will at most try to resonate to as far as it can, though am not present anymore. 30 days won’t be enough but it sure would be worth it. I used to hear my mentor telling me, it’s not the amount of time used that you get paid for; it’s what you put in the time consumed.

    Peter Drucker in his book The Effective CEO suggests that if we keep track of our time every day by writing what we did every 15 minutes, we are surely gonna decode what routines are producing more results and the percentage of time wasted. It’s an O.C. thing but it sure helps! After all, who would want to waste some precious minutes, when you know God can request your presence at any time.

    My Current Season

    Last year was a pruning year for me. I was more of a positive thinker, and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s just that before you think positive, be sure your life is in line with his purpose [insert discernment here]. Otherwise you’re just by-passing God’s learning ways and you’re just fooling yourself. God has to cut a lot of non-bearing branches. I learned to repent a lot, to trust him a lot, tap the grace source, and to have faith a thousand-fold. Now, lecture is done. It’s time for the laboratory [application]. With God’s grace, I believe this year is gonna be my defining year.

    Make IT Count Moment

    Be brutally honest with yourself, what consumes most of your time each day? My answer would be: aside from Facebook andTwitter, Travel Time-Traffic. Someday am gonna purchase a chopper to lessen my travel time. This year, I Must learn to wake up on the first alarm! No more snoozes!

    Make IT Last for LIFE [this is for everyone]

    1.       Keep a time journal this week, and jot down how you spend each day. Try to rate your productivity (what you accomplish) along with your contentment (how you experienced each day). How would you rate the cost-effectiveness of how you invested your time?

    2.       What was the biggest time waster in your past week? What was the payoff for you? Did it distract you? Entertain you, allow you to avoid someone? Is there a way to use your time differently and have a greater, more significant impact? Come up with a short list of alternate activities you can pursue the next time you’re tempted to waste time by default?
